For the last 8 years Local Studio has been collaborating with The Berrics to produce content seen by millions around the world. From original content promoting one of the biggest skate competitions in the world (The Battle at The Berrics) to branded projects for Nike SB, Mountain Dew, and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, we continue to partner on content for the central hub of the skateboarding world. 

In 2015 The Berrics picked up and featured our film LOCAL, and pushed it out through all their channels. A formal relationship was born and we’ve spent the last 8 years working with the sport’s biggest names and brands on original branded content. 

BATTLE AT THE BERRICS 

Every year skateboarding’s best wait for an invite to compete on the hallowed flat ground inside the Berrics warehouse. It’s a different kind of competition meant to stay true to the roots of skateboarding and born out of the sport’s fundamentals: 32 skaters, 4 rounds, and a game of S.K.A.T.E. 

From Eric Koston and Paul Rodriguez, to Nyjah Huston, Luan Oliveira, and Sewa Kroetkov, BATB has seen the biggest names in skateboarding compete to claim one of the sport’s most coveted trophies, and Local Studio has been there to witness and capture it all first-hand. 

Local Studio has also been a main producer for partner branded content. Over the years we’ve collaborated with Nike SB, Mountain Dew, Tony Hawk Pro Skater, and RedBull to create unique content centered around the culture of skateboarding.
